A plate of Mediterranean appetizers including olives, cheese, cucumber, tomato, cured meats, and pickled vegetables, served on a silver platter with a glass of water and bowls of dark liquid nearby.

a foodie’s honest review.

I love food, both making it and eating it. What started off as a joke (I’m very much not a housewife) has now become somewhat of a personal brand. So welcome to the space dedicated to the food, and drinks, I love. This is a (somewhat) curated page that mixes my thoughts, reviews, attempts, and overall feelings about food. The posts you find will be mostly reviews, of both recipes I try, and restaurants I visit. Most of these are in Chicago, but the occasional restaurant elsewhere is bound to make an appearance. And since I’m an avid espresso martini fan, be sure to keep up with the Espresso Martini ranking.
